Amidst a glass-walled space at 679 3rd Ave (at the corner of 43rd St.), Recession Art Sale will host a diverse group of artists and sellers, reflecting the wide economic spectrum of the recently unemployed. The objective is to create income, comment on current shifts in the market economy, and foster a sense of community amongst artists, sellers, and buyers. Unemployed individuals affected by the current economic recession will be engaged as sellers to market the works on exhibit.
Hosting the event is Anita Durst’s nonprofit arts organization, Chashama, which has worked successfully with conceptual artist and Executive Producer of Recession Art Sale, Elanit Kayne. In 2002, Kayne’s Times Square installation, "All I Want for Christmas is Nothing: An Experiment in Value", considered sellers’ and buyers’ notions of the relative worth of objects.
Kayne partners with Co-Producer Frank Shifreen, founder of the Gowanus Art Canal Project, to create the Recession Art Sale gallery for 30 top-selling international artists. Shifreen, the New York partner of www.cultureinside.com, an award-winning exhibition site currently available in French, German and English, is hosting the online gallery for the project. Marketing and management consultant and graduate of the Park School of Communication at Ithaca College, Sarah Vaynerman, joins the project as Director of Operations and Marketing.

Dell XPS M140 keyboard replacement

1. To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap or by periodically touching an unpainted metal surface (such as the back panel) on the computer.
2. The key caps on the keyboard are fragile, easily dislodged, and time-consuming to replace. Exercise care when removing and handling the keyboard.
3. Before securing the latch on the system board connector, ensure that the keyboard connector is seated and the tabs on the connector are properly aligned with the slots on the system board connector. Failure to align the tabs could result in a malfunction of the computer or damage to the cable and/or the cable connector.
In this article, I will explain how to replace Dell XPS M140 keyboard (http://www.papatek.com/Dell-Keyboard/Dell-XPS-M140-keybo ... ). It’s possible that my guide will work for some other Dell tablets. If this guide works for you, please mention the notebook model in the comments below.
Do not forget to turn off the notebook and remove the laptop battery before you start taking it apart. Remove six screws securing the Dell laptop keyboard. One of the screws I marked in red because it’s hidden under the rubber screw seal. You can remove the screw seal with a sharp object.
Insert a small flat head screwdriver between the Dell XPS M140 keyboard and notebook base and lift up the laptop keyboard. You’ll find a few small plastic latches securing the Dell laptop keyboard on the top and both sides. Here’s one of them above the F11 key. Carefully lift up the laptop keyboard and force it through the latches. When the Dell XPS M140 keyboard is released, you can access connectors underneath.
This laptop keyboard has two cables connected to the motherboard. I marked the pointing stick cable, you’ll have to disconnect this one first.
1. Unlock the connector by moving the white clip to the direction shown by two arrows. You have to move the clip about 1-2 millimeters, not more. The clip must stay attached to the connector base.
2. Pull the cable from the connector.
Turn the Dell XPS M140 keyboard upside down and place it on the palm rest. Now you can access the second cable.
Again, before you can pull the cable you have to unlock the connector. Open the locking clip with your fingernail. The clip opens at a 90 degree angle. Now the cable is released and you can pull it from the connector.

City And Community Officials Praise Economic Development Project In Southeast Raleigh

With a completely different business model, solid financial backing, and an eye on community needs, along with a balanced focus between profit and giving back to the community, Isha Developments is succeeding where others have failed.
“We’ve worked a longtime to see economic amenities and quality services come to this area,” said Lawrence Wray, assistant city manager. “Ten or 12 years ago I predicted that Rock Quarry Rd. was going to become a growth area. News on damaged HP Pavilion DV6700 LCD Panel replacement

No, of course, you needn't, it waste a lot of money, because your laptop didn't damage. This guide will tell you how to replace the damaged HP Pavilion DV6700 LCD Panel.
Before you start, please turn off the laptop, unplug the laptop ac adapter and remove the laptop battery. The laptop LCD panel is mounted between the display cover and bezel. The screen bezel is secured to the display cover by six screws hidden under six screw seals. I circled these screw seals. Remove all seals with a sharp object and after that remove all screws found under the seals.
Start separating the HP Pavilion DV6700 LCD Panel bezel from the display cover on one of the top corners. Continue separating the laptop lcd panel bezel. The inverter board works as a power supply for the backlight lamp hidden inside the HP Pavilion DV6700 LCD Panel. In most notebooks the inverter board is mounted below the LCD screen. In my guide I will not be removing the inverter board and because of that I will unplug only one cable from the right side.
Remove four screws securing the display hinges to the cover. Carefully separate the display assembly from the cover and place the LCD face down on the laptop keyboard. Now you can access the LCD cable connector. The LCD cable connects the HP Pavilion DV6700 LCD Panel to the the motherboard.
Remove the laptop lcd panel assembly from the notebook. As you can see, the screen still has two mounting brackets attached to the left and right sides. In order to remove the mounting bracket, simply remove three screws. Transfer the bracket to the new HP Pavilion DV6700 LCD Panel.
Many websites now specialize in selling laptop accessories from most of the major brands out there. If you find a site that sells a number of other HP accessories, then you know it is probably a good source for laptop batteries as well. Another good feature to look out for is the ability to sort by the make and model of your computer. This is important for finding a laptop lcd panel that is compatible with your computer.

The main story is about Harvey Ellis who sits in a line of traffic on an isolated road along the Norfolk coast, trapped by a fallen tree in a snowstorm. At 8:15 p. m., he is discovered stabbed to death, despite having been in full view of the other drivers the whole time, and the fact that no footprints are seen the snow around his vehicle. From this point, the crime gets into effect.
The detectives involve in this case on the same night they find the dead body of another man washed up on a nearby beach. Before they can get to the depth of either mystery, the dead bodies increases up in number and the case becomes more puzzling. Shaw and Valentine are experiencing the untold tension between them resulting from a twelve-year-old case involving a murdered boy which Valentine worked with Shaw’s father, Jack. Valentine and the senior Shaw were accused of planting evidence in that case and Jack eventually died of heartbreak from disappointment.
While handling with all the murders happening on his watch, Peter is re-investigating the cold case that may clear his father’s name and bring the things back to normal. Now the queries arise like Did Peter finds the culprit? Or did he fail to remove the knots?
In short, the author is taking the readers to thrilling stages at the middle of the story and makes them to walk along with the characters involved in the story.
