Introducing The All New 2010 Cadillac SRX

PRLog (Press Release) – Sep 03, 2009 – The long awaited 2010 Cadillac SRX is here and available at Cadillac dealers across the nation.  The SRX has been completely renovated for 2010. Gone is the third row of seats and the stodgy station wagon feel. The new SRX has the styling and functionality of a crossover vehicle and will easily compete with the likes of Audi, BMW, Lexus and Mercedes Benz.  The V8 engine has been replaced with a 3.0 liter direct injection V6 engine with 265 horsepower. In months to follow a turbocharged 2.8 liter V6  with 300 horsepower will be available as well. Front wheel drive or optional all-wheel drive replaces the previous rear-wheel drive and comes standard with StabiliiTrak 4-channel electronic stability control system with rollover mitigation to significantly reduce chances of a rollover. A Hydra-matic 6T70 6 speed automatic transmission with performance shifting and Driver Shift Control is on board as well to afford the driver superior control and maneuverability.

The interior of the 2010 Cadillac SRX is similar stylistically to the CTS.  Major differences from the 2009 SRX include more ambient light and increased cargo space of 25.0 cubic feet which can be expanded to 53.4 cubic feet if the rear seats are dropped. To further enhance the spacious feel of the new SRX a huge sunroof is an available option. Gauge displays are in place and utilize OnStar technology to show turn-by-turn directions and even the posted speed limit of the road on which the driver is traveling. Standard luxury features include a dual zone climate control, 8-way power driver seat and a sophisticated 8-speaker Bose sound system with XM Radio, MP3 playback and Radio Data System (RDS).

The base model sticker price for the new 2010 Cadillac SRX is under $35,000.  A very reasonable price for a vehicle that offers so much!
